The Problem

Presented with the opportunity to run a 30-second television commercial during prime time coverage of the 2016 Summer Olympics, our local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association turned to us to help create a TV spot worthy of the prominent placement.

The Solution

Over the last few years, we’ve become big advocates for the Alzheimer’s Association and their search for a cure. As with several of our past ALZ efforts, we gladly offered up our creative and video production services as a pro bono project.

The Result

Leaning on the personal experience of local ALZ advocate and speaker Herb Magley, whose wife had recently lost her fight with the disease, we drafted a script that was transcribed almost directly from Herb’s testimony.

With his own words in front of him, a slideshow of his late wife looping behind him, and our expansive warehouse surrounding him, Herb stood straight and delivered a poignant plea for Alzheimer’s caregivers to save their own life by simply picking up the phone and calling the Alzheimer’s Association.
